We are intrance with things we should not have
Brightly coloured packages
With no substance.
It just catches our eyes
Trapping us in it's brilliance.
What is behind the pretty packaging
Might just be all we get to see.
Most substantial things
Are not hidden with fancy trappings.
Things that are truly worthy
Need to be experienced
To savour each nuance possible.
The most simplest things have more than what is initially present
Full of intricies and need to be explored.
It is so easy to get bored with fluff
When we all seek something more in our soul.
Life throws us the possibilities
But we alone are the ones who choose the road
To our happiness and destruction.
